A family of four, originally from Nizamabad in Telangana, is said to have died by suicide in Vijayawada on Saturday morning.

Family members Pappula Suresh (54 years old), Srilatha (48 years old) and their two sons Ashish (28 years old) and Ahkil (24 years old) came to Vijayawada to visit the Sri Kanaka Durga temple and settled in the cottage. Sri Kanyakaparameswari.

On Saturday, Srilatha and a boy were found dead in the cottage. As they did not respond when staff repeatedly knocked on the front door, employees notified police, who rushed to the scene and found them dead.

A few minutes later, the police discovered that Suresh and his son had committed suicide by jumping into the Krishna River near the temple. The two bodies found in the chalet were taken to the public hospital for an autopsy, while police, using expert swimmers, attempted to locate the bodies in the river.

Preliminary police inquiries revealed that the family could have ended their own life due to financial problems.

BJP chief suggests “meeting”

On Friday, the BJP deputy and the head of the state unit of the Telangana party, Bandi Sanjay, suggested a “meeting” of the defendants believed to be behind the tragic mass suicide of a family in Kothagudem.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Bandi Sanjay said: “Poor Pappula Suresh committed suicide with his wife and daughters… You should think about how we should treat the abuser. you will stop it [TRS MLA son] and send it back.

“Think that if it was not him, then no pre-trial detention but a meeting… Yes, we have to make a meeting. We should treat and treat criminals like criminals, but the chief minister is being biased here. One law for the poor while another law for influential people. Now what will happen, he will be arrested and be released from prison in no time, ”he added.

Meanwhile, a relative of the late Ramkrishan alleged that he received threats from the son of the fugitive MP.

On the other hand, the ruling TRS suspended accused Vanaam Raghavendra Rao from the party, who is the son of party deputy Venkateshwara Rao.

Taking on the leadership of the TRS, Congressional State Unit head and MP Revanth Reddy questioned the silence of the president and minister of the ruling party, KTR, who is also the son of CM KCR .
