LAHORE: The special assistant to the chief information minister, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, said the decision of the Punjab government to increase the salaries of government employees by 25% would alleviate the financial difficulties of white-collar workers.
Speaking to the media at the Governor’s House here on Saturday, she said the PTI is a democratic party and everyone in the party has freedom of speech and expression. The special assistant said that the next budget will be development-oriented and that the resources will be equally distributed for the composite development of the province, adding that a comprehensive strategy will be adopted for development programs and solving the problems of the people. .
