CBSE Exam 10th Quarter 2 2022: The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the 2022 Term 2 Class 10 exams from Tuesday 26th April. Students who will take the 2nd term exam have their major papers – English Language and Literature on April 27, Standard and Basic Math on May 5, Science on May 10, Hindi on May 18 and Computer Application on May 23.

Yuvraj Krishan Sharma, co-founder and CPO, Kompanions advised students to practice as many questions from previous years to gauge their level of preparedness. “Daily practice of reading, writing for English and Hindi and solving mathematical and scientific equations or formulas gives students confidence and identifies where they are falling behind. Also, it helps students keep track of time while trying to ask questions since completing the quiz within the time limit will allow them to track their problem-solving speed,” said the expert.
CBSE 10th Term 2 Exams 2022: Prep Tips From Teachers & Experts
English
The CBSE 10th term 2 English paper will contain reading, writing and grammar and literature sections. The Class 10 English exam will take place on Wednesday 27th April.
The Class 10 English test will contain 10 points in Reading, Writing and Grammar – 10 points, Literature – 20 points. Sharing the preparation strategy, Shweta Mathur, HoD, English at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said, “The invisible passages are always a challenge for students in class 10 to solve. It is given to test a few essential skills in a student such as reading, conceptual comprehension, decoding, inference and vocabulary. This is indeed one of the tricky subjects because it can take time and it can go wrong if the student has not understood the text well.”
Hindi
The CBSE Class 10 Hindi test will be held on May 18. The Hindi test will have 20 points in Section A – Textbooks and 20 points in Section B – Writing. Vinni Sharma, HoD, Hindi at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad said, “Read one chapter a day. Read the easy subject for 45 minutes, while the difficult subject is to be read once or several times. To prepare for the exam , practice hard on the old quizzes and try to solve the quiz in less time than expected.” Students should study the easy and difficult chapters simultaneously and not neglect note-taking, the teacher added.
Math
The CBSE Class 10 Maths will take place on May 5th. The 10th Maths paper will contain 40 points. Nidhi Tewari, Principal, Ridge Valley School, Gurugram advised students to resolve the NCERT and NCERT Exemplar questions and ten year board papers. “For number-based questions, the number and the solution should be on the same page. This not only reduces your time, but also reduces your mistakes,” the principal said.
Science
The CBSE Class 10 Science exam will take place on May 10. The document will contain 40 points. Nidhi Tewari, Principal of Ridge Valley School, said, “Try to limit your answer to the requirement of the question and avoid writing long paragraphs describing unnecessary information. Keep your answers left-aligned .”
