PORT WASHINGTON, NY, USA, Jan. 18, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Channelnomics, the leading provider of business strategy and research to improve the performance of direct and indirect enterprise channels, expands its research capabilities with the appointment of Dr. John Spinda as the new research director.

Spinda, who holds a doctorate in communication and a master’s degree in communication education and mass media technologies, will oversee research projects, data analysis methodologies and the development of new research products at Channelnomics under the direction of Chris Gonsalves, director of research.

“Global channel businesses and go-to-market strategies are increasingly complex, requiring a new level of sophistication for the research we use to study them,” said Gonsalves of Channelnomics. “John brings extensive experience with advanced research methodologies and tools, as well as a true scientific approach to fact-finding and problem-solving. It gives us powerful new ways to do what Channelnomics does best: solve our customers’ toughest challenges with data they can trust.

An expert in quantitative and qualitative research, Spinda comes to Channelnomics from academia. Most recently, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Clemson University, where he also served as director of the sports communication program. Previously, he was a professor at Murray State University in the Department of Organizational Communication.

“I am beyond thrilled to join the high performing and talented team at Channelnomics,” said Spinda. “In particular, I look forward to further enhancing our already strong channel research program and helping to develop innovative research solutions for the challenges our customers will face in the channel in the future.”

Spinda’s addition to Channelnomics is part of an ongoing expansion of the company’s research capabilities and services. In 2021, Channelnomics revamped and expanded Brainstorm, an on-demand research and advisory service that supports technology vendors around the world. Channelnomics produces independent, contracted research that measures technology channel satisfaction, effectiveness, and market forces.
