One of the major factors that have helped Batman maintain its position over the decades is the seamless integration of IP into various popular entertainment mediums, winning over Batman fans in a wide range of markets.
From live-action movies and animated television series, the Caped Crusader dominated the ’80s and’ 90s. However, it was thanks to the increasingly popular video game industry that Batman became the one of the most diverse properties in the world. This trend has continued exponentially in the 21st century.

Released April 16, 2001, Batman: Chaos in Gotham is a single player action game developed by Digital Eclipse Software and published by Ubi Soft for Game Boy Color. The game is based on The New Adventures of Batman and follows Batman’s fight to clean up Gotham after an escape from Arkham Asylum.
